Dr. Ghohestani is internationally recognized for his original contribution to the field of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology with over 100 published papers and abstracts in medical journals. He has been trained at top medical centers in the U.S. and France. Dr. Ghohestani has completed his internship in Surgery at Pennsylvania Hospital, the Nation’s first hospital and one of the top 100 hospitals in U.S. He then did a Residency in Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University, one of the top dermatology programs in the country.

Dr. Ghohestani has a master’s degree in Cosmetology and a Ph.D. in Skin Biology and Immunology from the University of Claude Bernard in Lyon, France. He is a former chief of the Dermatology Program at U.T. Health Sciences Center in San Antonio and co editor of the European Journal of Dermatology.
